I am sure you have all seen the infomercial for P90X; I think it is a great program. I personally tried it out! But when I was done with the program, I thought there are a few things I would have done different. First I am not putting down the program, I think is great for the average person who wants to look great1 but if you are already in great shape and want to get that extra edge , I would implement actual weight training to it rather than body weight exercises! P90X works because it essentially uses high intensity interval training! You are always moving using free body weights and dumbbells!
But know that you will never get big defined muscles with body weight exercises like you would with weight training exercises. Read the rest of this entry »
